Schubert, Model TLM, two-axis, servo driven, robotic case packing machine was designed for use with hooded tray. Rated from 5 to 30 cycles per minute – depending on pack pattern, materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with a 4½" wide x 164" long product infeed conveyor to a 58" long side loading grouping chain with ¾" long x 3¾" wide x 2¾" deep pockets. Trays travel on an 84" long lugged conveyor on 18" centers. In the first station product is transfered from infeed belt to tray with a (12) head vacuum suction pick and place two-axis robot. Second station includes (2) 3" wide x 32" long powered magazines for leaflet insert, reciprocating pick and place to grab insert from magazine and a (2) head two-axis robotic arm that picks the insert from the reciprocating arm, places literature, closes the hooded tray and then transfers the filled case to a 4¾" wide x 218" long discharging conveyor. System is controlled by a touch screen interface and is mounted on a heavy duty frame with lexan guarding.
