Industrial blowers are used to replace stale or contaminate air with fresh air as well as for heating and cooling purposes. Unlike a fan that moves air with a propeller, centrifugal blowers utilize a wheel that draws air in through a wheel and discharges if at 90 degrees through a discharge housing. The advantage of a centrifugal blower is that it can move air at both high pressure and a high flow rate.
