Collette Model GRAL 25, High speed, high shear stainless steel, vertical, single pot, GAMP, R & D, granulator, with gross bowl volume capacity of 27 liters and typical batch weight of 11 @ 0.6g/ml (kg). 316 stainless steel construction. Equipped with removable stainless steel process vessel and has dimensions of 14" ID x 11" Deep. Lift up top cover with 2½" and (2) 3½" OD top ports, (3) blade main mixer with 12" OD and (3) 6" long x 1" wide mixer blades and (2) 4" long x 1" wide high shear mixer blades. Control panel has mixer and chopper start, stop and e-stop push buttons. Mounted on heavy duty stainless steel frame with statis light.

Single pot processing is the production of pharmaceutical granules using a wet granulation process in which dry mixing, liquid addition, wet granulation, drying and sizing of the granules is done in one machine.

GAMP (good automated manufacturing practice) design for 25% less granulating liquid use resulting in reduction in drying time with no wet sizing required.
